Defunct Front (2010)

Defunct Front was a photo-sculptural installation as part of Empire of Dreams, a group show at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA). The exhibition was on view from June 19 – August 15, 2010. The work was inspired by A City Renewal Project, the 2008 installation project that I completed with Specter. The installation continues my interest in examining abandoned spaces and shut down/failed Mom and Pop shops, as well as my experiments in creating photos that we can physically experience in three-dimensions.
